Editor's Note: One Year Old

Well, to all my faithful readers I have great news!

Today is the one year anniversary of "Forgotten Classics of Yesteryear"!

The past 52 weeks has produced 87 film reviews. For those who are interested, here are some interesting statistics:

Sorry, that's supposed to say "Continent."

*Sigh*

I want to thank all of my great readers and all of those who have been so kind to leave comments over the past year.

In particular, I wish to thank:

To all my other commentators and subscribers, thank you.

This has not been an easy year for me. There were several times when this blog was my last stake on sanity. Every subscription and comment was like a dream come true.

Special thanks to Mom, Dad, and Rachael. I'd be lost without you all.

God bless you all.

Here's to another year!

Keep those comments coming!

In celebration of my first year anniversary, I will be taking this week off. I'll be back on October 30th with a new review!

  1. Many many congratulations! And thanks for mentioning me! Your blog is really an unusual one with a rich repertoire and combination of titles. Because of it I have already seen some films I could not have otherwise.

  2. The fact that I have inspired people to see some of these films is the greatest compliment that I can receive. I set out to bring attention to forgotten films, and nothing warms my heart like the knowledge that I have succeeded.

Seriously, though. Rana, you are one of the best commentators that a blogger can hope for. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your kind words, encouragement, and shared enthusiasm for my mission.

  3. "A Page of Madness" is already at hand and "Rhapsody in August" has been tracked down and ought to be there soon. It's nice to have you around and it's a fruitful experience.
