Well, to all my faithful readers I have great news!
Today is the one year anniversary of "Forgotten Classics of Yesteryear"!
The past 52 weeks has produced 87 film reviews. For those who are interested, here are some interesting statistics:
Sorry, that's supposed to say "Continent."

This has not been an easy year for me. There were several times when this blog was my last stake on sanity. Every subscription and comment was like a dream come true.
Special thanks to Mom, Dad, and Rachael. I'd be lost without you all.
God bless you all.
Here's to another year!
Keep those comments coming!
In celebration of my first year anniversary, I will be taking this week off. I'll be back on October 30th with a new review!
Many many congratulations! And thanks for mentioning me! Your blog is really an unusual one with a rich repertoire and combination of titles. Because of it I have already seen some films I could not have otherwise.
ReplyDeleteThe fact that I have inspired people to see some of these films is the greatest compliment that I can receive. I set out to bring attention to forgotten films, and nothing warms my heart like the knowledge that I have succeeded.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, though. Rana, you are one of the best commentators that a blogger can hope for. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your kind words, encouragement, and shared enthusiasm for my mission.
"A Page of Madness" is already at hand and "Rhapsody in August" has been tracked down and ought to be there soon. It's nice to have you around and it's a fruitful experience.
ReplyDeleteGood to hear, buddy!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the shout-out! I've been enjoying following your blog and learning more about films. Keep up the great work! I'm really looking forward to seeing Trick 'r Treat next week!
ReplyDeleteThanks, bro.
ReplyDeleteTrick 'r Treat will be awesome!
Way to go! I've really enjoyed seeing these movies. Thank you for all your effort and describing these movies in a level I would have NEVER been able to see before.
ReplyDeleteThat is the greatest compliment that I could ever receive.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
I haven't been reading for very long so I surprised to receive that special thanks.
ReplyDeleteThank YOU for reaching out to me first. It's always exciting to meet people with similar interests and even more so when new interests are found.
Congratulations on a successful year, even if it wasn't as smooth as you would have liked.
2011, here we come!
Hey, the more the merrier, buddy!
ReplyDeleteBe sure to comment more, bro!
I can't believe it's been a year! Congratulations, and looking forward many more years to come. Here's to the future, my friend.
ReplyDeleteI could NOT have made it a year without you, mon ami.
ReplyDeleteI've been posting on /tv/ less and less but I'm certainly still lurking here. Your enthusiasm keeps me coming back. Here's to this time next year and another great year.
ReplyDeleteI totally understand! Thanks, and see you around!
ReplyDeleteOops, I have just discovered this. Maybe I'm too late, but I want to say thank you for mentioning me with other people
ReplyDeleteNot at all! Thank YOU for visiting my blog!
