I have never seen it either. I loved The Informer, and would be very interested to see Dassin's take on it. Except for The Naked City, I don't think I've seen any of Dassin's work -- you have intrigued me so that I'd like to correct that obvious error! I love to find out about directors, writers and such that I have not experienced. Thanks for that too!ClassicBeckyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03591715859057540467noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3856798792320939017.post-59404104787699477032011-10-09T15:52:35.705-07:002011-10-09T15:52:35.705-07:00Many thanks as usual, Page! Many thanks as usual, Page!Nathanael Hoodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01667245328396233986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3856798792320939017.post-46874456137024959912011-10-09T10:09:18.188-07:002011-10-09T10:09:18.188-07:00Nate,

It sounds like a most compelling twist on THE INFORMER indeed. From your description, it sounds like the characters' problems are indeed NOT black and white, so to speak. Just goes to show that, to paraphrase Shakespeare, no matter what color your skin is, our faults lie in ourselves, not in our stars. Great post, Nate; I'll keep an eye out for UP TIGHT!DorianTBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01357778472575080022noreply@blogger.com
